James Reichert, Station Manager

James has worked, is the ARMA Station Manager. 2014-19 he worked in live production at the Auburn Public Theater on sound and video production with Auburn Public Theater specializing in live performance, James has experience with both outdoor, and indoor events. That experience is utilized in the new DIY studio where James oversees and coordinates all content produced by the community.

Joe Salzone, President

Joe Salzone is News Director for the Cayuga Radio Group, a cluster of 10 radio stations in Ithaca. Since 2020, he’s hosted Ithaca’s Morning News on News Talk WHCU. Prior to Ithaca, Joe spent three years as morning co-host on WAUB in Auburn. He’s a past president of the Auburn Chamber Orchestra. In June 2023, Joe became interim president of Auburn Regional Media Access.

Steven Keeler, Vice President

SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Steve Keeler is the director of the Cayuga Community College School of Media and the Arts and was instrumental in its creation. He is also the director of the college’s programs in Media and telecommunications. He is known for his leadership and innovation in media and arts education, technology, online learning, curriculum development, and entrepreneurship education.  His commitment to the larger community is also substantial. He has taken on leadership roles in regional and statewide organizations, including NEA/NY, the Auburn Public Theater, the Auburn Regional Media Access Center, and the SUNY Distinguished Academy, among others. He has been honored nationally and regionally for his achievements. He was named SUNY Distinguished Service Professor in 2013. In 1999 and 2001, the Society of Broadcast Engineers honored him as National Educator of the Year.  In 2000 he received a SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence. In 2001 and 2005, he was a finalist for the American Association of Community Colleges’ David R. Pierce Faculty Technology Award. In 2005 he received Cayuga’s Faculty Award for Excellence, and in 2006 he was named College Technology Educator of the Year by the Technology Association of Central New York.

Carey Eidel, Treasurer

Currently a founding member and Executive Director of Auburn Public Theater, a nonprofit multi-venue art center in downtown, Auburn. Carey is also an adjunct professor at Cayuga Community College where he teaches Screenwriting, Film Production and Acting for Film. Carey relocated to Auburn in 2001 following a 25 year professional career as an actor, teacher, writer and director in New York City and Los Angeles. He is a member of The Screen Actors Guild (SAG), The American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA) and Actors Equity Association (AEA). He has appeared locally at APT and at Syracuse Stage in Hairspray and The Boys Next Door. A veteran of over 50 television shows and films, his television credits include Everybody Loves Raymond, The Amanda Show, 7th Heaven, General Hospital, Diagnosis Murder, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Yes, Dear, Strong Medicine, Melrose Place, L.A. Law and Fox’s Daddy Dearest (series regular). His film credits include Lost World: Jurassic Park, Evolution, For the Boys, The Marrying Man, And the Band Played On and C.H.U.D. He is also a well-know acting coach and teacher whose NY & LA students include Academy Award winner Haley Berry, Pam Stone (ABS’s Coach) & Diane Farr (Rescue Me).

Andrea Fusco

ARMA board secretary Andrea Fusco is a writer, journalist and retired teacher of Journalism and English from Auburn High School. A former assistant editor at Field & Stream magazine and script reader for CBS television, Fusco has also been an editor and reporter for The Citizen. Winner of three Associated Press awards, Fusco has also had work published in Field & Stream, Writer’s Digest, Stock Car Racing, and World Tennis magazines.

Patrick Moochler

Born and raised in Auburn. CCC Grad. Started my Television career at WIXT (now Local WSYR) Worked for The number 1 NBC affiliate in the country KUSA-TV in Denver Colorado for 11 years. Moved back to Auburn to start my family and launch the Time Warner Cable 24 hour news channel News 10 now (now called Spectrum News) Joined the staff at SUNY Oswego as the Chief Broadcast Engineer to run the Communication Studies labs and studios.
